Abstract
The development of educational programs for deaf-blind (Rubella) children residing in California and attending public school programs has been hampered by the non-availability of systematically collected and organised information on the intellectual, social and educational growth of this type of handicapped child.
The purpose of this study was to collect firsthand current data during May 1973 on a selected sample of deaf-blind children. The purpose was to establish a reference source of information , obtain teacher estimates on selected aspects of the current functioning behavioural range of deaf-blind children and organise the data to show educational progress.
