Abstract
Sense and Deafblind UK ran a campaign in 2000; "See the deafblind person" - its aim was to break down attitudinal and other barriers to deafblind people's access to high street services such as shops, banks, pubs and restaurants.
As part of the preparation for the campaign, Sense & Deafblind UK conducted a survey of deafblind people's experiences as consumers of high street services. This is a report of the findings.
